Stacy is plural. She lives part of her life in small-town Colorado, where she hangs with a tight-knit group of domineering, dope-smoking armchair philosophers, and part of her life online. Her internet community consists entirely of people with tulpas-- companions who accompany their hosts at all times, like sophisticated imaginary friends. Stacy has a new tulpa named Autumn. And although they're two consciousnesses sharing a single body, they're still working on figuring each other out.
